要維持鋼琴的音高在標準水平，定期調音是必須的，應每年至少兩次。調音師在調音時，亦同時檢察鋼琴的狀況，確保鋼琴處於最理想的狀態。The pitch should be kept at a constant level. When the pitch is frequently lowered or raised, the instrument is much less likely to remain in tune.
